For nearly twenty-five years, Dungarvin has provided services in residential settings according to the individual requirements of adults with special needs.  We continually strive to meet and exceed our mission of "respecting and responding to the choices of people with developmental disabilities."  Dungarvin currently has over 65 sites in the metro and out-state areas and continues to grow.  Site locations include Anoka, Bloomington, Brooklyn Center, Brooklyn Park, Crystal, Hutchinson, Lester Prairie,  Maple Grove, Minnetonka, New Hope, Richfield, Robbinsdale, Roseville, Shoreview, South Minneapolis, Spring Lake Park, St. Louis Park and St. Paul.

Employment Posting Information

We are currently looking for:

• Program Counselor:  Full or part-time.  Responsible to provide direct services to people served.  Assist the people we serve in every aspect of their lives.  Includes assisting in maintaining a clean, safe living environment, meal preparation, administering meds, and transporting consumers to activities and appointments.  Requirements: HS Diploma/GED, driver's license, good driving record.  

        Starting Salary: $9.95/hr.

• Asleep Overnight Counselor:  Full or part-time.  Responsible to sleep at the site and provide Program Counselor duties when needed.  Requirements: HS Diploma/GED.  

        Starting Salary: $5.95/hr.

• Live-In Counselor:  Full time.  Responsible to live in the home and take primary responsibility for the consumers' safety and care during sleeping hours, early morning hours, and other night and weekend hours.  Requirements: HS Diploma/ GED, driver's license, good driving record.  

        Starting Salary: $9.95/hr plus free room and board.

•  Residential Coordinator: Full-time, lead position in the home. Responsible to coordinate variety of activities including: consumer finances, recreation, program services, family involvement, education programs, health care/nutrition, and household management.  Also responsible to carry out duties of the Program Counselor during all direct care shifts.  Requirements: HS Diploma/GED, driver's license, good driving record, previous lead experience.  

        Starting Salary: $10.75-$11.10/hr.

• LPN: Responsible to provide direct care to consumers, administer and document meds, assist RN in developing care and treatment plans, and perform specifically delegated medical and nursing actions as determined by the RN.  Requirements: Minnesota LPN license, driver's license, good driving record. 

        Starting Salary: $16.25-$17.25/hr.

• Program Director: Responsibilities include providing direct supervision to direct support staff employees, and are responsible to develop and oversee the delivery of services for 10 to 20 people.  Requirements: Experience in recruitment, budgeting and supervision of direct service employees.  Multi site management preferred.  

        Starting Salary: Exempt level position.

• Director: Responsibilities include contract management, program development, fiscal oversight, quality assurance and personnel management.  Requirements: Experience working with people with developmental disabilities, managerial experience, and a BA in Human Services or a related field is required.   

        Starting Salary:  Exempt level position.
